FUN!

Oh yes!  I am grateful for FUN! Fun of all kinds, too!  And please be advised this post is not going to be my normal "deeper message" type of post.  This one is just plain ole' giving thanks for having FUN!!

Today was SUCH fun ... a plan finally pulled off after a long time in the making.  Paul has been helping his folks in Orlando since the first of November.  I have been staying in the mountains taking care of those things.  I flew down to Florida on Thursday night so I could spend Thanksgiving with my husband.  But the date for the Eau Gallie Art Show was SO close to Thanksgiving, that I just decided it would be a HOOT to surprise Cindy Michaud for her "Sainted and Painted" Art Debut.  Especially since she painted me as St. Cheri of the Fairies, and put me on the cover of her book!!!!!
So, today Paul and I rode down to Melbourne, found the fabulous art show and then found booth 114, where the Saints were all on display and the precious unsuspecting Cindy was sitting innocently in the booth talking to a customer.

This was her reaction

This was the MOST FUN I've had in a long, long time!  To see someone smile that big for that long was heartwarming, to say the least.

And here is a shot of the art in her booth, as best I could capture it from some odd angles.

 Such a great show!

And It was such a pleasure to spend the evening with Bob and Cindy and have a lovely dinner by Chef Bob!  Such wonderful people.  Such wonderful fun! Such a worthwhile trip.  SO grateful.

And now Paul and I are tucked into a seaside hotel and plan on spending the morning drinking coffee and tea on the beach and melting into being one with Mother Nature, the sea and the sun ... or the rain or whatever comes.  Oh my goodness, I am feeling so VERY blessed!  Like it's a dream and I need to pinch myself!  And I hear it's snowing in the mountains.
What a lovely, lovely day it has been.  Life is good, y'all!
Blessings to you all!
