The New Year is upon us! Doubled up for me because of my birthday. I always have ample opportunity to redo, undo, rewrite and goal set this time of the year. The week of Christmas has always been introspective for me, even as a child. And so the magnifying glass has come out, and things are being reviewed from the deep within.
~~~~~~~~
What do I want to accomplish personally in 2013? What direction will I take ArtsyMatilda in now?Which of the interests we have will prevail this coming year?
What do I want to keep in my life? and What do I want to eliminate?
What improvements do we need to make? Where do we want to live?
What can we do to simplify now that we are at "that" age?
Which "program" will be best for health and happiness ~ physically, mentally/emotionally and spiritually?
Basically I make myself just a bit crazier than "my norm" this time of year. But it's worth it!
*What about you? Have you set goals for 2013? Do you set goals for the New Year?
(as a side note - and NO I don't get paid to advertise for her, Leonie Dawson's program for goals is excellent if you need some ideas to help you out. She has both Personal and Business this year. I highly recommend her!) check her out here She is realistic, funny, a bit zany, and mostly just smart! She's creative and artistic while being analytical enough to make it all work on this earth. It works for me. Incredible, as you can find out.
*Have you taken down your Christmas decorations yet? Ours are still up and lovely. I procrastinate about taking them down every year. They are happy and inspiring for me.
And so, with a lovely stack of Christmas cards to re-read from our sweet friends and family,
I bid you all a very Happy New Year with your new goals, new hope, more love and joy than you could even imagine and prosperity that will bid you well and keep you content, warm, safe and happy.
Blessings,
