I woke up this morning with that "knowing" feeling ... knowing you haven't slept enough and that the day will be interesting, at best! My morning routine is so simple: meditate, feed the cats, drink coffee, get dressed, go forth. And as you know, I'm a southerner. I was bred and taught to NEVER leave the house without the proper attitude in place. It makes for such a hard day when you don't check your "ugly" before leaving the threshold.
This morning I had the sensation that my negativity was holding on to me like a tantrum throwing 2 year old child. You know the one who is holding on to the leg of her parents when she is being left at the babysitter against her will. Hmmmmm. Which in turn prompted me to ask my little 2 year old this question, "What IS your problem today? Don't you JUST KNOW we are protected and taken care of?"
Intently listening for that answer.
Meanwhile, sweet Amy in the coffee shop next door Creative Grounds) made me a latte. So really, life is good!
