Hi and welcome to Artsy Matilda's blog! I am just getting this all started and do hope you will enjoy following along while this humble gal embarks on her artist journey. I will post my art, along with other stuff. I will beg and plead for your feedback. I will honor your opinions and your suggestions for improvement and hope to titillate your imagination and quench a little bit of your art thirst.

I mostly produce mixed media art. This featured piece today is a mosaic piece I did for a young boy. It was absolutely delightful to make, as he has very few boundaries yet! I L.O.V.E. doing mosaics, but they are always mixed media. I wouldn't be very good at just ONE task ... like tile or glass only. I seem to need a lot going on. Just a warning. And I like whimsical things. You'll see that. Color is good too! Textures are fun and necessary for the variety to work. My work is always finished on the back, grout sealed, and comes finished with hooks and wires for hanging if it is indeed a hanging piece. I try to remember to sign everything too --- still a work in progress!

I hope to get this artsy business started with grace and dignity. I hope to continue it all in the same way. Thanks for stopping by.
